EDL was originally a subsidiary of a British company started in the early 1960’s which has become one of the largest European manufacturers of shrink bundling machinery. By the early 1980’s there were installations in over 50 countries throughout the world. EDL was formed in the USA in the early 1980’s, initially as a Sales and Service Center, and has grown to become a self-sufficient, full service design and manufacturing facility. In 2002 EDL became a completely independent, wholly U.S. owned company.

Our modular design equipment allows us to satisfy most customer requirements with flexible equipment that is competitively priced. We offer expedient delivery and pay attention to industry requirements. Our machinery is designed to bundle collations of consumer products (personal care, pet food, household products, etc.) and industrial products (building materials, extrusions, etc.) using poly film, which is a cost-effective means of unitizing and protecting products for transportation, storage and retail purposes. Our Double Tight Wrap System has allowed us to be the preferred packaging machinery supplier for the majority of the pet food manufacturers in the United States.
